Photographs of the game

The University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball team forced 22 DePaul turnovers and used an early 17-2 run to defeat the Lady Demons 77-62 in a Big East conference game in the Gampel Pavilion. Maya Moore, the sophomore phenom led all scorers at the half with 16 points, shooting 6-for-9 from the field. The Demons shot 36.7% (11-for-30) in the first half, led by six three-pointers in 14 attempts from three point land. Unfortunately for the Demons DePaul’s three-point shooting went cold in the second half as they hit only 1-of-10 from 3 point land. The Demons were able to keep the game within 25 points as they were able to hold UConn under their season average of 54.3% shooting at 46.7%. Although outplayed in the 1st half, DePaul played the huskies even in the second frame as Connecticut's shooting went cold.
